Is the eBox an "LPS" or "CPS" system?

Combining efficiency and power, the central eBox functions as a low power supply system (LPS) while delivering performance comparable to a central power supply system (CPS). The system meets all the requirements of LPS and CPS in accordance with EN 50171 and is therefore perfect for use in small to large projects. LPS (Low Power Supply System) according to EN 50171; max. 1,500 watts for 1 hour of emergency operation and 500 watts for 3 hours of emergency operation * CPS (Central Power Supply System) according to EN 50171;

What does ECP mean in the central eBox?

The ONLITE central eBox uses ECP (Emergency Central Powerline) for emergency lighting powerline communication. This type of ART safety lighting requires a 3-pole final circuit (L/N/PE).

What does ECD mean in the central eBox?

In the ONLITE central eBox, ECD stands for Emergency Central Dali and refers to the DALI communication of the central emergency power supply system. This variant of the safety lighting requires a 5-pole final circuit (L/N/PE/DA/DA).

What does ECC mean in the central eBox?

The ONLITE central eBox uses ECC (Emergency Central Circuit monitoring) to monitor the emergency lighting circuits. With a 3-pole final circuit (L/N/PE), the safety lighting can be operated in maintained, non-maintained or fully controlled mode.

How is the central eBox integrated into a facility management system?

The ONLITE central eBox can be integrated into the central power supply system using a BACnet connection. Two licensing options are available for emergency lighting: a package with 100 or one with 600 BACnet data points.

Can the LED safety luminaires of the central eBox be dimmed?

The ONLITE central eBox allows you to dim the safety lighting through the DALI IN input of the OCM circuit modules.
