Efficient lighting for maximum precision
Forming AG, a leading manufacturer of metal profiles, was in search of a robust, future-proof lighting solution for its assembly halls. The previous 400-watt sodium vapour lamps were energy-intensive and no longer able to cope with the demanding production conditions. Together with Zumtobel, a solution was developed that not only drastically reduces power consumption but also guarantees maximum durability and optimal light quality.

Powerhouse with sustainable added value
The CRAFT II plus offers an impressive luminous efficacy of 134 lm/W – twice as efficient as the old luminaires. By replacing their old lighting, Forming AG was able to reduce its energy consumption by up to 50%. Besides significant savings in operating costs, the company has also reduced its CO₂ emissions – an important step towards sustainable industrial production.

With innovative thermal management and a self-cleaning design, the CRAFT II plus delivers lasting high performance. The special Craft Protection Shield (CPS) reliably protects the luminaire from external influences, while the TIR (Total Internal Reflection) optic system ensures precise light distribution.
