Lighting design inspired by Carhartt's urban aesthetics
In close collaboration with Carhartt WIP, Zumtobel developed a lighting concept that reflects the brand's urban-industrial spirit and is designed to connect with the lifestyle and expectations of its audience.
Light that brings brand identity to life
Zumtobel's lighting concept brings Carhartt's DNA to life. For lifestyle and fashion brands, light is not just functional — it is the silent architect of the atmosphere, transforming spaces into immersive brand experiences, tailored to each identity.
A shopping experience that feels authentic and vibrant.
The first Carhartt-WIP store in Poland is a bold statement of urban-industrial style — orchestrated by light. After a collaborative workshop event with the Milan-based design agency Andrea Caputo, Zumtobel crafted a bespoke lighting concept that not only illuminates but also choreographs the space. Dimmable solutions allow for fine-tuning on site — and precisely highlight every detail. From the textures of the clothing, to the meticulous details of the accessories, to the raw character of the architecture: each element reflects the urban identity of Carhartt WIP.
"Light is more than just illumination — it is a powerful instrument for enhancing Carhartt's brand identity. By integrating dimmable TECTON and VIVO-II solutions, we were able to transform the urban character of the store into a unique, brand-compliant shopping experience. The close collaboration between the brand, the design agency, the retail management, and Zumtobel was the key to this success."
